Two Recommendations
I just finished a great mid-grade book that won a Newbery Honor this year: Savvy by Ingrid Law. Check it out and I'm sure you'll fall in love with this unique family.
I also rented Ballet Shoes (the 2007 version) and watched it while Matt worked one night. Its an entertaining PG film and I liked it so much, I just checked out the book from the library.

Thanks, Em. I'm always looking for suggestions and I always like yours!
I liked Ballet Shoes too. Joe on the other hand - did not. I like your suggestions too!
