Hemmeter Idol

That time of year has come again, where children all around the township have warmed up their windpipes to wow the judges. This year we kept down playing it for Elyse, telling since she's been in Hemmeter Idol twice, she might not make it this year--that other kids might be given a chance to try. To our amazement, Elyse was chosen as one of the final three to represent her grade for the third year in a row, and garnered another silver. She sang "Colors of the Wind" from Disney's Pocahontas and even sang to music this year. Way to go Elyse! You are a rock star.
