Surprisingly, Elyse wanted a skate board for her birthday. ??? Well I guess if she's skate boarding she'll be spending less time climbing trees. Which is better: falling fifty feet from the tree top or skidding on asphalt and losing all the skin on your arms and legs?
Saturday I took Elyse and a few friends to a corn maze for her birthday party. I gave them a cell phone and a map and let them wander around by themselves. They made it through in half an hour, walked back in the exit and got lost for an hour and then made it out again.
