For the last 21 days Elyse's second grade class has been taking care of eggs in an incubater. She's had a couple turns turning the eggs and being on egg watch. I've been receiving daily updates and on Monday the first chick hatched. They're up to nine of the twelve hatched, so today I took my carpool group into her classroom after school to look at the chicks. The teacher was nice enough to let everyone hold one. I had to include a pic of Paul, even though this wasn't his project, just because I feel bad I haven't posted one of him yet.
