Baby Robins

Watering the plants one day, I found half of a tiny blue egg shell next to the hose. I looked up and this Mama Robin flew right over my head, leaving three tiny squawking babies in a nest. This is a new nest in the yard for us this year. The kids and I had fun watching these little guys grow feathers and last week, finally fly away. Unfortunately, the Mama didn't realize how sound travels through the rain gutters. I caught the kiddos tapping it often to wake up the babies. Their head would immediately arc to the sky like in the first picture. I'm sure they were glad to fly away.
