Blueberries

It's blueberry season again here in Michigan. We tried out a new farm this year and I'll have to go back because the berries were insanely cheap and the farmer rounded down the total, too. We have sixteen pounds of berries to make zucchini blueberry bread, lemon blueberry cake, blueberry crisp, smoothies, yogurt and berries...I happen to love, nay LOVE, these little round fruits. What shall I make today?

Peach blueberry pie is my favorite. Or strawberry-blueberry jam. Or... okay anything with blueberries!

Nothing but sagebrush and tumbleweeds grow naturally here, so there's no such thing as pick-your-own anything. Commercially, only onions and garlic are grown around here. I was admiring somebody else's berries too, and she had a couple recipes. I don't know if any will tickle you, but here's the link: http://www.soulemama.com/soulemama/2010/08/kaplink-kaplank-kaplunk.html
