Our old mailbox bit the dust. After the excessive snow this winter and the snow plows pushing too much snow too far, it was going to fall over with the next stiff breeze. So the kids helped Matt pour a new cement slab today for a brand new mailbox. The lines at the bottom are our fingers. The mailbox is going to cover up the rest, but it will be a nice time capsule for whoever replaces this one.Tonight my daughter dropped a half cup of carrot soup exactly right (or absolutely wrong) to make it splatter from wall to wall on the floor and also on the ceiling. A half a cup! It looks like we might have to repaint the ceiling over the table. Hopefully touch ups will blend in and we won't have to do the whole thing!
